GOTTA LOVE # 7

So I got to see Logan play football last night for the first time this season. He has not played for the last 2 years so it was fun to watch him out there fighting to get the tackle or catching the ball. I am not very football savvy so I could not tell you what position he is playing on defense but he did tell me that last night he was playing receiver for the first time and that it is tougher then (ok here is my football expertise...lol) one of the back positions, not sure if it is half or full. He had two great catches that helped move the team down the field and some awesome hits but in the end it was just not their night. They were playing Declo and on the first play of the game Declo scored. On our first play of the game Declo intercepted and scored again. We were able to hold them and even scored in the 2nd quarter. Then came the 4th quarter and Declo just broke loose. Final score....36 to 7....OUCH!!!! This is their 3rd game and loss but with each one the score on the other team keeps getting smaller and smaller, which is good. Logan chose to play JV this year as the seniors on varsity make for a very deep selection and he decided (along with about 6 other juniors) that he would rather play then help warm the sideline. He still has to dress down for varsity as he is a junior so tonight we get to face Declo again, on their turf this time. We can only hope that the varsity will be able to do more damage then we did last night.
